With another summer season, comes another Bath and Body Works semi annual sale. Of course, I had to keep tradition and go make a couple of purchases.
Now, I know that I have a lot of lotions and perfumes in my collection already. For this haul, I wanted to find new products that I could try. Also, I wanted to get some shower gels, because you can never have to many shower gels and I was getting low anyways. Here are the things I picked up from this summer’s semi annual sale.
I have not had to buy hand sanitizers in a while, so I was excited to see all of the new fragrances that they made.
1. You’re the Best
This one has a light and fruity scent. Sometimes, hand sanitizers can have a strong smell, so I was happy to find one with a lighter scent.
2. Mango Dragonfruit
Honestly, I was surprised that I liked this one. Usually, I do not go for these kinds of scents. I love this one, because it has a light, but defined scent.
3. Peach Mango
You cannot go wrong with a peach scented hand sanitizer. This one smells amazing and is a classic really.
4. Eucalyptus Spearmint
This was an interesting scent that I was unsure about. Surprisingly, it is not bad, but I would not say it is my favorite. Similar to the Mango Dragonfruit, it has a defined, but subtle scent.
5. Berry Lemonade
Like the Eucalyptus Spearmint, this was another interesting scent for me. Honestly, I am still a little unsure about it. You can smell the berry and lemonade equally, which I think is throwing me off. Overall, I think this scent is perfect for a hand sanitizer.
6. Fresh Sea Salt Mango Shower Jelly with Aloe
I have never seen this product before, so I was intrigued to try it. I love the scent! It is one of the lightest scents I have ever smelled. It is great, because it is a fresh and relaxing scent.

7. Fresh Sea Salt Mango Agua Cool Aloe Lotion
Like the shower jelly, I have never seen an agua cool aloe lotion, so I wanted to give it a try. The lotion is not the same formula as usual lotion. It is clear and more jelly like. It soaks right into the skin. I think it would be perfect to put on right when you get out of the shower. The scent is slightly stronger in the lotion versus the shower jelly. It smells like vacation. I pictured myself relaxing on the beach after I smelled this.

8. Endless Weekend Shea & Vitamin E Shower Gel
This is a repurchase. I loved this scent the first time I tried it, so I decided to get the set this time. The scent is subtle and perfect for a nice summer day. On the back of the bottle, they describe the scent, so I am going to insert that here so you can a better idea.
“Bursting with fresh summer mandarin, sun-kissed magnolia and raspberry lychee sorbet, this fragrance is finished with a breeze of blue coconut water and vanilla sandalwood.”
9. Endless Weekend Fine Fragrance Mist
Last time, I got this scent in a mini sized fragrance that I could carry in my purse. I wore this scent so much that I finished the bottle. I never finish many of my perfumes. Since I did with this one, I figured I would get a full sized bottle this time.
10. Wild Madagascar Vanilla
This is one of the heavier scents that I picked up. I think it would be a perfect scent for now, because it could be a summer or fall scent. I like how they incorporated the vanilla in this one. Sometimes, vanilla can be an overpowering scent, but the vanilla was balanced well in this perfume.
11. Sunset by the Pool
I could not help but get another summer scent. Like the Wild Madagascar Vanilla, it is a heavier scent, which I think could work in any season. I like that it is a heavier scent, but the smell itself is not overpowering. The scent is hard to describe, but I think it is worth a stiff if you get the opportunity.
12. Cherry Blossom Shea & Vitamin E Shower Gel
Personally, I think you can never have enough shower gel, so I had to pick some up. For this first scent, I have loved it for years. It is perfect for a shower gel, because it is a heavy floral scent.
Key Notes: Dewy Watermelon, Red Plum, Cherry Blossom, Sheer Freesia, Soft Sandalwood
13. Lavender & Sandalwood Shower Gel with Natural Lavender Oil
I wanted to try something that I usually would not go for, so I decided to pick this up. Personally, lavender can be a hit or miss scent for me. In this product, it works well. It is the heaviest scent that I purchased, but I think it is perfect for a shower gel. Below I will share how they describe the scent:
“Our pampering shower gel conditions while it cleanses and soothes the senses with an aromatic blend of magnolia petals, soft sandalwood and natural lavender oil.”
14. Fresh Gardenia Shea & Vitamin E Shower Gel
My Mom picked out this scent for me and I liked it. It is a fresh and light floral scent. I think it is a perfect scent for a shower gel.
Key Notes: White Gardenia, Spring Rain, Blue Hyacinth, Cotton Musk
15. Coco Shea Cucumber Moisturizing Body Oil
I always put baby oil on when I get out of the shower, so I thought it would be good to give this new product a try.
Key Notes: Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, and Cucumber Extract
16. Aloe Vera Body Butter Lightweight
This is a product that my Mom recommended that I try, because she loves it. Like the aloe lotion towards the beginning of this haul, it is not a typically lotion body butter. It is a jelly body butter, which explains why lightweight is written on the package. I think it will be perfect to put on right out of the shower.
17. Island White Sand Shower Jelly with Aloe
I really wanted to try all of the new jelly products if you cannot tell. I picked up another shower jelly. I like the scent, because it is light and refreshing.
18. Coco Shea Cucumber Gentle Smoothing Body Scrub
I love a good body scrub and Bath and Body Work’s classic cucumber melon scent, so I was happy to pick this up to try. I thought it would be a great new product to test out.
Key Notes: Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, and Cucumber Water
19. Lavender & Sandalwood Clay Body Scrub with natural lavender oil
Like the shower gel, I wanted to try this scent in a body scrub. It is a clay body scrub, so of course that grabbed my attention. Below I will share how they described the product:
“Our skin-smoothing body scrub gently exfoliates and soothes the senses with an aromatic blend of magnolia petals, soft sandalwood and natural lavender oil.”
Ingredients: Natural lavender Oil, Detoxifying White Clay, and Rich Volcanic Mineral
20. Black Lava Body Scrub
This was another line that my Mom recommended that I try, so I decided to get the body scrub. I do not know why, but I love the description on the back, so I wanted to include it below.
“Volcanic Ash is one of the best kept beauty secrets of the Polynesian Islands, known for its skin purifying and exfoliating properties. Infused with Volcanic Ash, detoxifying White Clay and clarifying Activated Charcoal, this body scrub purifies while it smooths to give skin a healthy-looking texture and tone.”
Side Note: I noticed that all of the products that I got said “NOT TESTED ON ANIMALS” and I think that is incredible and worth highlighting!
