I have been obsessed with this song forever! She is so talented and beautiful. This song shows it all. From the beat to the lyrics, I love the feel. I love the laid back R&B vibes. The music video is amazing if you haven’t taken a moment to watch it.
Blossoming Yakul
From the beginning, this song is incredible. I love the staccato notes throughout. With the jazz influence, the piano and drums make the feel so relaxed. Yakul’s voice compliments the beat perfectly. I love the contrast of tempo throughout… helps guide you through the journey.
14 Me – S+C+A+R+R Remix by Electric Guest, S+C+A+R+R
I love Electric Guest… their style is so interesting and unique. I always want to dance when I listen to them. Y’all may not know, but I love a good remix and this is one of them. It just enhances the dance vibe and speeds the beat up some. If you like remixes, you should give it a listen.
Remember Me UMI
This song will have you in your feels, but in a good way. From the emotion in her voice to the feel and tempo of the beat, this song is incredible! Looking at the past, the lyrics tell the story of self refection and old memories asking a single question. The guitar riff heard throughout compliments everything so well.
Streets Doja Cat
The first time I heard this song I was obsessed. After I heard the live version on YouTube, I was lost for words. First, that live version was amazing. If you have not heard it, please go on YouTube and look it up. With a classic R&B vibe, her voice sounds amazing and the lyrics are so good.
Tainted Alina Baraz
If you have not heard this album “The Color of You” yet, please take a moment to schedule that into your calendar because it is worth a listen. This is one of my favorite tracks from the album. I love the feel. The bass and drums throughout are everything. The lyrics are so relatable and her voice sounds amazing as always.
