Happy New Year!! I hope you had a wonderful holiday season and 2023 is treating you well so far. It has already been an eventful first week, but good overall.
Reflecting on 2022, I grew a lot in the last 12 months. I opened my eyes to a lot of things in every area of my life. As a result, I am now in a completely different place from where I started, which is incredible! I was ready for a change.
Here’s the story of 2022…
- My MBA diploma came in the mail. It never left my parent’s house.
- Saw The Lion King Musical with the family for one of our Christmas presents
- Had Covid and binged watched all of Patriot Act on Netflix’s
- Planned and executed my first two floorsets at Altar’d State
- Saw Dua Lipa at Bridgestone Arena on Valentine’s Day
- Saw Rent the musical in Chattanooga. It was everything!!!
- Got my first sew-in. I actually tried out two different styles this year
- Saw JoJo on St. Patrick’s Day
- Got a double helix piercing
- Celebrated Victoria and her twin’s birthday at a bonfire
- Attended P&P Live! Lilly Singh for her new book Be a Triangle with Priyanka Chopra Jonas
- Went to the Blunts and Blondes in the Caverns concert with Russo, Aubrie, and Ben
- Went to an EDM show in a small bar with Russo and Aubrie. (May 7th)
- Went to see Kayzo with Russo and Aubrie in Atlanta, GA
- The next day I went to Nashville to see Aly & AJ
- Went kayaking for the first time with Rachel and Jenny
- Went with Kelsey to see Justin Bieber at Bridgestone Arena. Also, I got to see a dancer I follow online named Delaney Glazer. That was a cool bonus!
- Went to the BigFoot Electro festival with Russo, Aubrie, and Ben
- Went to West Virginia to celebrate our family graduates: Ty and Jordy
- Took a trip to Colorado for the first time with Russo and my Mom
- Went to Six Flags with Rachel
- Saw Hamilton with my Mom and Grandmom. It was incredible!!!
- The week before I moved to Colorado, I got to see a lot of my friends. It was great getting to catch up with them before moving across the country.
- Altar’d State going away party
- Target hibachi night
- Dinner with Jadea’ and Alexis
- Dinner with Ciera and Yasmin
- *I did not get to have dinner with Tristan due to the movers, but we are going to make it up soon.*
- I drove across the country from Tennessee to Colorado with my Dad, Mom, Sora, and Kira. My Dad was driving a U-Haul. It took us two days, but we made it.
- I moved from Tennessee to Colorado with Russo, Kira, Sora, and Lex.
- I had the opportunity to open a fully renovated store. My highlights were setting up the backroom and doing the entire store lighting for the grand opening. It took an entire shift, but it was worth it.
- I started going to therapy again!! I have already learned so much.
- Went to an EDM show with Russo and Aubrie downtown Denver (Sep 30)
- Went to see Rezz with Russo at RedRocks in Denver. It was my first show there and I cannot wait to go back.
- Saw Kevin Hart’s Reality Check show at Ball Arena. This was also my first time at this arena.
- Was signed to Wilhelmina Denver modeling agency!!!
- Got to spend Thanksgiving in Tennessee
- Got to spend Christmas in West Virginia. Although, it did take 24 hrs to get there.
This year I surprised myself in a lot of ways. I am going to try and take a second to appreciate and celebrate all of the memories I created this year. I got to do a crazy amount of amazing things. In addition, I wanted to thank everyone for reading this and being a part of my journey. I appreciate you for spending your time with me.
For my goals this year, I want to keep it simple.
- I want to expand my career and open my mind to new challenges and opportunities. I want to add more creativity whenever I can.
- I want to work on launching new projects and growing my passions to the next level. Consistency is key.
- I want to continue working on my mental health, so I can be mentally strong.
- I want to continue exploring new cultures and practicing Spanish.
- I want to always have something fun planned. It keeps me motivated to keep going.
