Weekend Trip to Nashville and Mariah the Scientist 2024

Welcome to another quick trip to Nashville! This time I stayed the weekend, so I got to have a little downtime.

For Christmas, I got my sister meet and greet tickets to see Mariah the Scientist. Since I knew in advanced, I figured why not make it a whole weekend. Here’s what we got up to.

Upon arrival, my Mom decided to style my hair, which is exciting. If you know me, you know hair is not my speciality, but I am trying to tap in. Since we had limited time, my Mom and sister kept it simple with a braid bun. It was all hands on deck to finish in time for the show. Luckily, we finished and got to the show with plenty of time to go to the bathroom and get a spot close to the stage.

The show was at one of my favorite Nashville venues, Marathon Music Works. Since we had meet and greet tickets, we were able to get in first. The line was quick and easy to get through. Plus, we got a goodie bag with a VIP lanyard, scorpio keychain, and a signed tour poster. The venue is mostly standing inside. I wanted to make sure we got a good spot to see the show. We were able to stand 3 rows from the front. We met up with one of our church friends who came in a little later. It was amazing getting to see her.

Overall, the performance was great! The openers were Cherry and DJ Honey. They both did an amazing job! This was my first time being introduced to both of them. I always love getting the opportunity to meet new artists, so a win-win. Mariah’s set was amazing! She sounded wonderful. Her dress looked incredible on stage. I loved how regal and dramatic it was. Also, I enjoyed the visuals.

After the show, my sister and I got to do the meet and greet with Mariah. Honestly, it was a smooth process. We got to say hey and get a couple of pictures together. She had great energy and was so fun. Of course, I complimented her fit. Then, we went to Raising Cane’s, and headed home. Below I shared a video from each performance. Enjoy!

The next day, we decided to sleep in and then check out the new Tanger Outlet Mall in Antioch. This was my first time there. Honestly, it looked really nice and had great store options. There were some cool moments in the middle like a sitting and play area. Plus, it is right off the interstate, so an ideal location. I didn’t get too much while we were there. I mostly got some makeup from Ulta. To end our trip, we needed some food. We went to Chipotle before heading home. The next morning, I was on a plane back to Colorado.

I did post a reel of the trip on my Instagram. If you want to see this adventure from a different perspective, it is linked below.

Thank you so much for checking out my post! Let me know in the comments if you have done a meet and greet at a show. This is actually my second time doing one, but that’s a story for another day. I hope you are having a great life. I will see you soon with something new!
