Welcome to another solo music adventure. This time I went to see the Jonas Brothers!
I may have seen the Jonas Brothers a couple of times. I could not pass up this opportunity to see them again. This time I saw them at a new place. The show was apart of their summer tour. It was in Colorado Springs at Weidner Field. Their opener was none other than Tori Kelly! All around this was a must see show. I ended up going by myself. The drive there was a little over an hour and the line was long. The weather was perfect for an outdoor concert. I had a good seat. There is something so special about outdoor summer shows. Typically, they are stripped back and it really is just about the music. It was interesting to see apartments behind the stage. Honestly, who would not love to hear free concerts all summer? Now that I think about it, tons of people probably would not enjoy that. If you lived there for like a year or two, you could probably hear some amazing performances.
Tori started off the show. This was my first time seeing her live, which is everything. I have listened to her since the YouTube days. She sounded incredible! She had a simple stage. It was just her and the band. She sang all of my favorite songs. After a short break, the Jonas Brothers performed. They were amazing as well! The set was a nice mix of all the hits. Everyone sounded and played great. I always enjoy seeing them perform. The nostalgia brings me back. Overall, it was a wonderful time. Since I knew all of the songs, I sang my heart out the entire show. At the end, it was easy to get out. Plus, it ended up being a chill drive home.
Since I was in the moment, I did not capture much content other than a couple of videos. I will attach those below.
