The Spanish Chronicles Part 4
Now, we have arrived to the last week of my Spain trip. During this week, I had the opportunity to go on two day trips. The school had two field trips planned for us during the month. I missed the first one, because of limited spaces. I went on the second one, which was this one. We went to Toledo, Spain.
It was not very far from Alcalá de Henares. It was a pretty short bus ride. This was exciting, because I got to hang out with other UTC people. We had a great time. We went on a guided tour of the city with some of the staff members from our university. We looked at some beautiful churches. The architecture in those churches was stunning! It is hard to believe that they built those before technology and today’s equipment. I even met this guy who was playing his guitar on the street. I bought his album, cause he is amazing! Plus, you should support the local talent and independent artists. Overall, there was only one bad thing. Since we went with the university, we were limited on time, so we only had an hour to an hour and half to explore and shop. I did not get to buy many things, but we went to some great shops. We went to a leather shop. I love authentic leather shops, because you can tell they are the real deal by the smell. Also, I bought two really pretty fans. One is pictured in my Spain souvenir haul. My friends and I got a couple other things. Nonetheless, I have pictures that I want to show you, so here they are:
