Wrapping up 2017

My first post on this blog was my wrapping up 2016 post. I thought it was helpful, because it provides a chance for reflection. It kept me on track throughout the year. At the end of 2017, it is a reference to see if I have accomplished my goals for the year. Although I did not complete all of my goals, I did complete some and worked on others. Also, I did things that I did not expect to do this year. As a result, I decided to do it again for 2017. Below I have listed some goals that I want to accomplish for 2018.

I want this to be the year of creativity. I want to challenge myself creatively and take more risks.

1. I want to continue practicing guitar and piano. I want to learn and work on writing and vocals.

2. I want to learn and work on photography and video editing.

3. I want to go on adventures! Whether that is through travelling or just chilling with friends and family.

4. I want to plan more fun activities. I feel like every year I have scheduled more things that I enjoy doing. For example, I went to a lot of concerts last year. Honestly, it is my favorite past time.

5. Speaking of concerts, I want to go to more concerts! Music is something that I am passionate about, so I want it any way I can.

6. I want to finish reading the books that I have bought over the past year.

7. I want to get a good intership for the summer.

8. I want to take more time to do nothing. I have learned that having nothing to do can sometimes be a good thing. Then, you can fill that time with things you want to do that you otherwise would have no time to do.

I feel like this year the list of goals is going to be small and broad, because I want to keep everything open. For time purposes, I feel like this year is more open. I will have a little more freedom in my schedule to work on different projects. All in all, I want to have experiences and make memories. At the end of the day, that is what is most important to me.

Like last year, I wanted to list my favorite moments from 2017, because I think it is great to look back at all the wonderful things you did during the year. It is good to reflect on it at the end of year. It motivates me to do more things in the year to come. Plus, it is something that I can look back at years from now. It is like a memory box. Below is my highlights of 2017:
