What a year! 2018 has truly been one of the most interesting years I have ever lived. It was a complete and total mess. With some ups and many downs, I can say that 2018 is a year I will never forget.
As I say goodbye to 2018, I had to reflect on all of the things that have happened this year, good and bad. After thinking back, I wanted to share some of my favorite moments from 2018.
1. Participated in the Chattanooga Women’s March downtown with all of the homies. Somehow, we ended up leading the chants in the front.

I have definitely learned many lessons from 2018 about life, relationships, and myself. In addition, I have done a lot of reflection and really started to think about where I am going. I know this is only the beginning. As I began to think about 2019, I thought about some of the things that I want to do in 2019. First and for most, this is going to be my year. There are some exciting things happening this year. If I am not ready, I need to get ready real quick, because life is moving.
Here are my goals for 2019:
1. Graduate college with my Bachelor’s degree
2. Learn and work on myself. Self care is important and I want to do more of it this year
3. Creatively, I want to continue doing more with music. From playing the guitar to writing and composing, I want to learn and make more music.
4. In addition, I want to go to as many concert as I can and I want to listen to a lot of new music. I discovered so many songs and artists in 2018 and I loved it!
5. I want to continue blogging and doing photography. I have so much to learn and I want to dedicate more time to writing and taking photos.
6. I want to travel and experience more things. I spent a lot of time inside last year. Although I love chilling at home, I love going on adventures even more.
7. I want to enjoy life. I want to be happy with where I am and what I am doing. I want push myself out of my comfort zone and try some new things… maybe even do some of the things I have been thinking about for years.
I wanted to be realistic and broad with my goals, because it is more important to have a direction for the year than to make a long list of goals that you will forget about in a month. All in all, I want this to be a good year. I know we hold the power to make this a good year, so let’s make it happen!
Thank you so much for reading this post and looking at my blog. I am forever grateful that you decided to share some of your most valuable time reading this. I hope you have an amazing 2019!
