Favorite Dance Covers from 2018

As y’all know, dance is one of my secret passions. I love watching people dance and make choreography. I find it interesting to see different interpretations to songs.

Last year, I posted Favorite Dance Covers of 2017. Honestly, I enjoyed making that post, so I decided to do it again this year. It may become a yearly thing, because I am going to watch dance covers anyways. I like sharing them with you guys.

Here are some of my favorite dances from 2018:

1. How Long by Charlie Puth Choreographed by Jake Kodish and Delaney Glazer

What an amazing cover to start the year off with! I love this duet. You can see both of their styles throughout the dance. I thought the choreography was interesting.

2. Skyscraper Cover Choreographed by D-trix

This was a mood! The video had an incredible message. Sean and Kaycee danced perfectly, as always. The choreography is beautiful and you can feel the emotion throughout. Side note: I love that it was recorded in the dining/living room.

3. 2AM by Adrian Marcel Choreographed by Wildabeast

Everyone in the video performed so well! Plus, it has some of my favorite dancers in it. The song and choreography match perfectly. I honestly catch myself doing the moves whenever I hear the song.

4. Lost in Japan by Shawn Mendes Choreographed by Jake Kodish

I love this song, so I was excited to see some choreography to it. I like this routine because it allows for each dancer to really add their own personal style. Throughout the video, it is great to see each dancer’s interpretation.

5. Dark Side of the Moon by Lil Wayne Choreographed by Delaney Glazer

Honestly, Delaney is just memorizing while she dances to this song. The choreography is incredible. It goes with the song perfectly.

6. Brother by Matt Corby Choreographed by Sean Lew

This is everything! I am honestly memorized when I watch them perform this dance. It is so good! The choreography tells this incredible story. They are so in sync. Sean blows my mind all the time with his choreography.

7. Finesse Remix Choreography by D-trix

I loved watching the LAB on World of Dance, so hearing that D-trix choreographed their dances just made it even better! This was a great collaboration. The dance is so fun!

Thanks so much for reading my post! I hope you enjoy these dances as much as I did. If you have any dances that you enjoy, please send them my way, because I would love to watch them. I hope you have a wonderful day!
