Chicago
When all of this was starting back in February, I had the opportunity to fit in one more trip before everything was shut down.
Normally, I have an idea of where I want to go. For this vacation, I really did not have a preference. Plus, it was my first trip traveling by myself. I wanted to make sure I picked a place that would be fun, but also easy to navigate. After some thinking, planning, and discount codes, I decided to go to Chicago. I had never been there before and I figured it was a place I always wanted to go too.
Starting off, the trip was really rough because I was getting over being sick as well as being dropped off at the wrong hotel when I got there. Although the first day was eventful to say the least, things started looking up. The trip was for relaxation, so I spent some time chilling and watching Netflix’s while eating the best deep dish pizza ever. On the other hand, I did some sightseeing. I went to museums and the mall. I actually ended up getting this pass where you could pay roughly $100 and visit 3-4 of the sights around the city. That ended up working really well and I would recommend if you are going to the city. It is called the citypass. I ended up going to John G. Shedd Aquarium and the Field Museum. I loved both… I need to go back so I can finish looking at everything. Overall, it was a great experience and I enjoyed the opportunity to go. I am definitely going to come back to discover more, because I did not even touch the surface. I wanted to share some photos from the things I did see…
Thanks for checking out my photos! I hope you are having an amazing day. I will see you soon with something new!
