As I begin to document my modeling journey, I thought it was only fair to highlight my first modeling experience. Let’s travel back to 2018 when I was in college…
While I was in school, I had the opportunity to do a photoshoot for my university, The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. The UT organization was making a new booklet highlighting students that earned scholarships given by the school. Luckily, I was able to earn one of them!
Overall, the experience was incredible and unlike anything else. The photographer was amazing! He coached me through the entire process. He used the coolest light reflecting the UT logo in my eyes. The highlight of the entire shoot was what he said while he was showing me some of the photos. He said, “You are going to be on the cover!”

After a couple of weeks, I received some of the booklets in the mail. I was surprised to find that he kept his word and put me on the cover! I was not only on the cover, but they put my reflection I had sent weeks prior to the photoshoot in the booklet. It was an incredible opportunity. I was so excited they sent me a couple of booklets, so I could give them to my parents and grandparents.
