Altar’d State Visuals

Hey, welcome back to my site!

Over the years, I have done some interesting things in my career. I figured why not share some of the progress on here. From time to time, I will start sharing some of the projects I’ve had the opportunity to work on.

For this post, I wanted to share some projects from Altar’d State. While I was working for this company, I was an operations leader. I had the opportunity to work at two different locations. I worked at a store in Chattanooga, Tennessee as well as Park Meadows in Lone Tree, Colorado. Altar’d State is known for open creativity and elegant window displays. Without further ado, here are some of the fun things I got to do while I was there.

1. Altar’d State Easter Floorset 2022: Store 207

At the time, we did not have a store leader or a visual leader. I organized and partnered with my team in order to get this Easter floor-set complete. It was my first floor-set by myself. Given the circumstances, I feel like it ended up going well. I was so proud of the team for helping me put this together.

2. Lighting for the Grand Re-Opening: Store 185

I had the opportunity to do the entire store lighting for the re-opening of the Park Meadows Altar’d State location in September 2022. It was truly a treat! I enjoyed getting to take the store from dark to light literally. Plus, it took me an entire 8 hour shift, so I got some great exercise climbing up and down the ladder.

3. Assisted Visual Leader with 2022 Winter Windows

I had the opportunity to partner with Jen, our visual merchandising leader at Park Meadows, to put together the bears for the winter window. It was a very cool project to work on! I love doing arts and crafts. It was nice getting to help her put the windows together.

4. Park Meadows: Mannequins

I wanted to share a few mannequins I styled at the Park Meadows location. I love the challenge of putting together outfits. Nothing feels better than when a guest buys an entire outfit that you styled on a mannequin.

Thanks for checking out my post! Hopefully, y’all like this style of content. Please let me know in the comments below if there are any work projects that you are proud of. A lot of times, work can be very uneventful, so it is nice when you get to do something you actually enjoy.

I hope you are having a great day. I will see you soon with something new!
