American Eagle Visuals: Grand Junction Part 2

Advertisements

At the beginning of January, I had the opportunity to go back to Grand Junction to help out. The store was going through some management and team changes. As a result, myself and 3 other leaders went down to assist. Here’s what we got up too.

The four of us met at the airport and went over the game plan. My job was to do a store analysis and make the merchandising plan. When we landed, we went straight to the store. I did an analysis of the sales-floor and backroom. There were definitely some opportunities to get this store where it needs to be. The highlights were the sales-floor being empty and the stockroom being packed with product. The clearance section needing to be filled and labeled. Also, there were some organization opportunities. We were there for 5 days. I made it my mission to get as much product out as possible. Plus, we were onboarding a new store manager as well as doing their inventory. It was a week packed with a lot of things to do. Below I attached some photos of not only the things I worked on, but also some moments I captured from the trip.

Here’s what I was able to accomplish…

  1. We pre-set majority of women’s floor-set Spring 1. I attached photos of some of the projects I worked on below.
  2. We cleaned up and organized the backroom. I started working on the marketing closet.
  3. We did a ton of training and coaching.
  4. We did inventory.
  5. We completely re-did all of men’s denim. We had to put several styles into the wall since they were empty. Also, I had to re-order and re-market them.
