In-flight reading
I have officially arrived in Spain! It is absolutely amazing here! Everything is so peaceful and beautiful. I am doing a study abroad program with my university at the University of Alcalá. I am studying Spanish here, which is perfect. The flight here was roughly 9 and half hours long. Since that is a long flight, I figured I should find something to pass the time. I decided to find some good books, because I never read and it would be a good option in case I did not want to watch movies or sleep. Before I headed out, I went out and bought a couple books and picked up some that were on my shelf. I have never read any of the books below, so I figured it would a treat.

1. The Wedding by Nicholas Sparks
This was one of the books that I had on my bookshelf. My Mom bought me this book a long time ago. I figured I would read it, because I love a good romantic novel.

2. A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks
I have heard a lot of good things about this story. I had planned a long time ago to read the book and then watch the movie. Recently, one of my best friends, Jayla, insisted that I watch the movie, so I figured I would go ahead. Of course, the movie was amazing! Now, I have read the book.

3. 99 Days by Katie Cotugno
A year or two ago, I went to the SEYA book fest that was held at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN. This event was suggested by one of my favorite teachers ever, Mr. Nance. My friend and I went and it was fun. I encourage anyone to find a local book festival and attend. This was one of the books that was featured at the event. When I went to buy books, I figured I would give this one a read.

4. All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven
I was recommended this book by Zoella. She has a book club on her YouTube channel and she rated this book highly. The description sounded like something I would like, so I picked it up when I went to the bookstore. This is the first book I am reading. Although I have not read a lot of the story yet, it is really good so far. It has an interesting perspective on life.

5. Love and Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch
While I was at the bookstore I was looking around at the other books, I noticed this one. I read the description on the back and it sounds amazing. The story is about traveling, family, and love. That is my kind of story, so I determined this book would be perfect.

6. My Heart and other Black Holes by Jasmine Wanga
I saw this book at the SEYA book festival too. Actually, I had asked my teacher, Mr. Nance, what book he would suggest I read and he recommended this one. I bought it at the festival. Although I should have read it by now, it is on my list for this summer.
As I begun looking for books, I realized there were a lot of books I wanted to read. Since I am a slow reader, I knew I would not finish them all on the plane journey here and back, so I figured I could try to finish all these books by the end of the summer. Basically, this is my summer reading list.

Thanks for reading and have a wonderful day!
