Wrapping up 2023
Another year, and another wrap up.
Let’s see what we did in 2023…
- Went to an EDM show
- Went to a modeling movement class
- Did my first photoshoot with Jen
- Went to see Excision’s 2 day festival with Russo and Beryl
- Did my first modeling job with Ben for an university
- Saw Sullivan King with Russo and Beryl
- Started my mentorship and online business
- Went to Disney Animation: Immersive Experience with Russo downtown Denver
- Went to Spring Leadership for WWG
- Got to see my sister graduate from college with her Bachelor’s degree from University of Tennessee at Chattanooga
- Got to see Hayley Kiko with Russo
- Got to do a modeling job for Glo Skin Beauty
- My Aunt Lauren got to visit me in Colorado
- Went to the Grizzly Rose with Jen
- Got to do some fun modeling promos
- Went on a hike at Red Rocks with Sora
- Did my first runway audition
- Went to Denver Pride with Russo and Beryl. It was so amazing!
- Went to Houston, Texas for the first time with Mom, Kelsey, and some friends from church
- Went to a professional baseball game in Houston, TX
- Went to the African American Music Museum with my Grandmom
- Went to see Beyonce in Nashville with my Mom
- Went to the penny arcade with Russo and Beryl. I got to play one of my favorite games ever, Guitar Hero
- Went to see Alicia Keys with Russo on his birthday!!
- Went to see the Barbie movie with Andi
- Went to see the Barbie movie again with Jen and Meagan
- Went to Family Reunion for WWG
- Started a new job as a merchandising manager at American Eagle
- Went to see a comedy show with Jen, Nick, and Steve
- Went to see Sam Smith with Russo
- Went to see Rezz with Russo and Beryl
- Went to Las Vegas for the first time with Jen and Nick
- Went to see the Jonas Brothers with Jen in Las Vegas!!!
- The next week, I went to see the Jonas Brothers with Russo in Denver, CO. I was living my best life!!!
- Had a Denver adventure with Russo and Beryl. We went to the Denver Art Museum, Denver Aquarium, Denver Museum of Nature and Science, and Meow Wolf
- Went to West Virginia for Jordan’s wedding. It was epic!! A core memory for sure
- Went to see Eric Nam with Jen. We made a new friend there too.
- Went out to Temple Night Club with Jen, Molly, and her people
- Went to West Virginia for Thanksgiving
- Went to a comedy show with Jen. We saw Capone Lee
- Went to Jen’s house to watch the champion fights
- Made Christmas ornaments for Kira, Lex, and Sora. We had a Christmas movie night.
- Went to Nashville for Christmas. Jada, Uncle Terry, his girlfriend, and her son came to visit. It was an incredible Christmas catching up!!
- I spent the year working on my mental health. It really paid off! I learned a lot about myself, the world, and the universe. I had a mental reset.
- I took Sora and Lex on a ton of walks. It is truly one of my favorite pass times.
Wow, what an insane year!! I felt like this was definitely a year of growth. I learned a lot about myself. I had an opportunity to not only understand myself, but figure out what I need in order to thrive. Honestly, it can be difficult being there for yourself in the right ways. It is refreshing having a more positive outlook on life especially when you did not realize how down you really were.
Goals for 2024:
- I want to release new projects and ideas I have been working on.
- I want to do something fun every month. I enjoyed setting a goal to always have something exciting to look forward too.
- I want to be consistent this year. I can get distracted very easily. I want to put a focus on making my goals happen.
- I want to continue becoming mentally strong.
