Going Live: Sam Smith
Welcome back to my site. Today, I wanted to share another concert experience. Back in 2016 or 2017, I had the opportunity to go see Sam Smith. They were incredible! Of course, when I saw tickets were going on sale for the Gloria tour, I knew it was a must see.
In 2023, I got to see Sam Smith at Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado with Russo. Since we had already seen Sam Smith, we went for the cheapest seats. We ended up sitting in the 300’s which normally is not too bad. The people in front of us were having the time of their lives, so at times it was hard to see. Overall, it was a great experience. The opener was Jessie Reyez. She sounded great! The stage was simple. There was a sheet covering something on the stage before the show. It ended up being one of the coolest props I have ever seen. You can see it below. In addition, the musicians, dancers, and singers were amazing. They brought the stage prop to life. Also, the theme was great too. There was an essence of enchantment and elegance highlighted throughout. Elements included different shades of gold. Later in the show, Jessie came out to perform with Sam. That moment was very fun. Sam sounded incredible and played all of the bops. All in all, it was a wonderful performance. Here are a few photos I took of the night.
I did not get a ton of content from this show, because I was in the moment. Plus, it was harder to film with the people in front of us. I did manage to get a couple of videos before and during the show that I wanted to share. Y’all have to see what was on the stage. They are attached below.
